Help the car not wheelie as much without bars help inside

I have qa1 double adjustable shocks in the car right now. I havent tried it yet but will stiffening the shocks all the way help keep the front end from coming up as much. Im trying to get the 60's in the 1.2'.

Also i hear people straping the front end down. To do this do i just weld a tab near the shock tower and get some ratchet straps?

If anyone has tried both please let me know your thoughts

thanks

The linmiters will ehlp the launch but you will have to play with them a bit to find just the right length.

Have fun

That's why there are multiple holes in the lower bracket.

I installed these and went to the track yesterday. On the lowest setting i couldnt get the car to hook at all. I pulled them off and put the shocks as stiff as they could go. this kept the car on the ground and got me a 1.35 60'. I didnt have anymore time to play with them but maybe if i hit the tire really hard it might work. But from what people on the side lines said the car would come up and the secound the limiters hit the car would look like it nose dived.

I did manage a new best of 8.81@154. Same boost as last time. After i get a 5 bar map i should be able to go for low 8's high 7's

Unfortunately, it takes a big set of 'nads to keep one's foot planted on the throttle, when the rear bumper is on the track and all you can see is the sky. In the first photo, the car was already on its way down. Destruction of the oil pan occured a second or so after the photo was taken.

This was a very early video... only the second pass the car made with a new engine. The first pass was made with wheelie bars, and they sucked.
