Hard brake pedal - NEED HELP

We recently bought a 69 camaro from a friend. He had the car sitting for about 10 years in the garage. Today we took it for the first time on a test drive. The brake pedal was very very hard. It felt like the car did not want to stop. The car has drums all way around - the brakes and drums look good. Does anyone know what the problem could be?? Any info would be great

Brake booster bad??? Have you flushed out the old fluid??? Probably has rust, rubber degrading pieces, and water build up in the lines...

Is there vacuum to the brake booster???
