Front Wheel hubs

Can you install these hubs backwards??

The reason I ask is becuase when I ordered mine, it didn't include an option for drivers or passenger side, just a one side fits all type thing.....Well I ordered it because my inop light was coming on, and I needed to replace the passenger side wheel hub. Now, when I am going in reverse everything is fine, only when I put the car in driver does the inop light come on. I don't notice the low traction light anymore either....I just don't understand how it can work in reverse but not in drive...

I'm going to replace the drivers side wheel hub this weekend, so hopefully they aren' side specific.

Re: Front Wheel hubs

i dont think it's possible to install them backwards...i dont remember there being 2 part numbers...one for either side...there was just one part number. also, the only difference would be on one side the connector plug faces forward and on the other it faces backwards...but the stockers did that too.
