Eibach spring height vs. stock spring height

Well I finally got my Eibach Pro Kit springs in today. I took off my stock rear spring, and it's the same height as the Eibach's. I can tell the Eibach's are softer though. I bought them used, so did I just get burned (and he sent me some beat stock springs), or is this normal? I always thought the lowering springs would be shorter. Thanks

That's weird... I put on my pro-kit a couple years ago but as I recall the spring rates on both front and back was higher than stock, and I seem to remember them being a bit shorter too.

You sure he didn't send you sportlines? They are softer than stock (and not a good performance spring... they're for the lowrider look).

The Pro-Kits have a progressive spring rate. The top coils are going to feel softer, and compress more under the weight, giving you a lower ride height. The springs should be a dark gray powdercoat, and have the Eibach part #'s on them.

These are a blackish, possibly dark grey. They do have Eibach printed on them (just realized, duh!), and a part number 383001 (I think).

Thanks for all teh help!
