A dumb question!!!

While going down the road, the abs inop light pops on. I checked fuses, relays and all is ok. I take the car to autozone and the scanner they have won't scan abs codes,oh well. Anyway when I got home, I notice that I don't have any brakes lights at all . I have marker lights, but no brake lights. Could this be the cause of my abs inop light being on?

The answer to this question is YES. The stoplight switch was bad. Replaced it and now I have brake lights and NO ABS inop light. Funny how GM has this wired up where the ABS light would pop on when the brake lights don't work.
