Does anyone here have a BMR driveshaft safety loop?

I've got this loop and for some reason, I can't get it to fit right.

Is the circle supposed to be closer to the transmission or the other way around?

Thanks!

Works fine for me. Might have to copy and paste.

That should be correct. I had one on my car and I think that's how it went on.

You mean circle closer to the tranny?

If I put it on that way, it seems to have clearance although the circle is still touching the floor tunnel. (it touches it either way)

BUT, it looks like the base of the loop is not sitting right. One end on it (where the bolts go in) is longer and one is shorter. The passenger side on the car is shorter. If the circle is closer to the tranny, the shorter side goes on the driver side and the longer side goes on the passenger side. (which is the other way of what it would look to be right.)

Ahh, I see what you're talking about now. The bent part of the x-bar should be facing the ground. If I remember, the indent is to clear the torque arm. The loop itself can only fit on one way once the crossbar is on. From what i remember, mine fit w/ plenty of room, but I did scrape the x-bar..a lot.
