Do I need lower control arm relocation brackets?

I am upgrading my suspension and am lowering my 91 Z28 Convertible 1 inch. Along with that I am putting on adjustable lower control arms and an adjustable panhard rod. Do I need to put on lower control arm relocation brackets? or can I make the necessary adjustments with the adjustable lower control arms using the stock location? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

It depends on what you want to build the car for. If you are looking for cornering than I would not recommend them because they can affect rear roll steer. If you are looking to gain straight line traction and you are not worried about cornering than I would recommend our relocation kit.

And what happens if you want alittle of both worlds? What do you do then?

You will have to compromise and decide which one is more important to you straight line traction or overall cornering ability.

Thank you for the clarification, it makes it easier to decide what to do.

Much Thanks!

I got a set of LCAs and RLBs from J&M off of Ebay last year. Finally got my lazy butt in gear and installed them today (if it's snowing where you are, then you wish you were with me in Florida. Sunny and high 70s. I get to work an the car and test on the same day!).

I recently went from 16" stock rims and 245 BFG KDW tires to 17x9.5 ZR1s and 275 Hankook Ventus tires. I've been pretty disappointed in the newer tire's traction. The LCAs seem to have gotten me a lot of that bite back.

Can't wait to get good tires on there again.
