Car swaying at 130+

I had my car up around 130 to 140 the other day and it the car felt like it was swaying real bad. I was wondering what suspension mods I could do to help stop this. The only suspension mod I have so far is boxed LCA's.

just about any suspension is gonna feel like it's ready to lift at that speed.

but the obvious things are springs and shocks.

SWAYbars, fresh bushings, good tires and good shocks.

Please tell me you're smarter than to do that speed with the stock pads, rotors, and brake fluid thats been in the car since it was new...

Got brand new tires on it. I just did a recent brake job and bled all 4 calipers. I made sure I had an open bridge when I got on it, I just wanna help stabilize it some.

Re: Car swaying at 130+

I use to hit 160+ in my Z all the time, when safe of course. I'd had a few suspenison parts though. The car felt stable as hell. One of the best cars at high speeds i've ever been. My car never swayed or felt like it was floating at all. I'd say the very least is to make sure you have good tires, good shocks, and good stiff springs. This was my suspenison set up on my 01 Z28, I hope this helps.

BMR STB, ADDCO 35mm front swaybar, 21 MM rear swaybar, eibach pro kit springs, koni adjustable front shocks, bilstine HD rear shocks, adj panhard rod, adj tq arm, DD SFC's, BMR LCA's, and Reloaction brackets.

Swaying or wandering....front alignments can be optimized for stright line stability at speed or cornering.

Re: Car swaying at 130+

I had the front end aligned about 8k miles ago, but it was on old tires. Maybe I should have it done again.
