Not sure what you are asking? If you want to run the C5 brakes you need at least a 17" wheel so skinnies in the front arent going to clear them.

i think you should just go with some z06 wheels, total shipping weight for mine was just over 20 lbs for all 4. 17*9 clears the calipers and tires are prety cheap at 100 a piece for some ZRi's.

Are you sure????

My SS wheels (17x9) where about 22 lbs EACH. Im not sure if there is a wheel out there in that size that weighs 5 lbs each.

??? doesnt matter really...all i know is they are really light. i had some boyd's that were heavy as a mug...and some factory salad shooters that were heavy in comparrison.

something to think about is the magnesium C5 wheels. i know Mg is lighter than Al any day. and they're cheap.

You can't be serious.... 5# per wheel, shipped? The Bogart "drag use only" 15x9.5's are the lightest wheels made and they are close 10# apiece. Check the list of wheel weights in the FAQ in the "wheels and tires" forum.

I think what you are trying to get at is the lightest possible wheel infront and correct me if i am mistaken but also the wheel that will create the lest amount to contact resistance to the road?

Then i would not go w/ the 17x9 zo6's even if they are five pounds each , lol

I know weld makes a 16inch wheel might want to check into that or something
