When I speed up to 80 and have to brake hard on city streets my brakes seem to be locking up. More in the rear than the front. Don't know if my ABS isn't working or whats going on. Just changed my pads and rotors like 3 or 4k ago. Bendix rotors and Pro Stop Ceramic pads. Any reason why this is happening. All other times the brakes work fine. Its only when I speed up rapidly and have to brake hard. The rears seem to lock up and it gets alittle squirrley back there. Any help greatlly apprciated.

 

Not sure what you mean by "seem to be locking up". Either they are locking up and the tires are squealing like crazy and smoking, or they aren't.

 

The tires aren't squeling like crazy or smoking the just seem to get loose almost like the rear end is unloading and the abs thinks they are skiding.

 

So the ABS is activating, and the "LOW TRAC" light is coming on?

 

Low trac light isn't coming on. I don't really feel the abs pulsing in the brake pedal like I have before.
