Best way to get access to rear top shock mount

So what's the easiest way to get to the top shock mount on an 02 Convertible??? Looks like I might have to remove the upper seat belt mounts, but was hoping someone might have an easier way??

I know my sig shows a 92, that's my car, the 02 is my wife's.

Thanks.
Troy

I would swear that the access was the same for the entire 4th gen.
If so pop your hatch, pull the carpeting up all the way to the back seat, and you should see to foam blocks at each corner in the upper trunk space just behind the rear seat. Pull out the foam and the nut is under there.

Crappy mock up;

No hatch to pop on a convertible. The shock mount location is different.

Yeah, the rear seatbelt mounts are where I think they should be... Guess I will just have to pull them off and see whats under it.

It's a pita and it's not the same as the coupe. Had to remove the back seat and lots of other stuff to get to it.
