Re: Best Torque Arm

I'm partial to the Spohn products, I just purchased their crossmember mounted adj. torque arm. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to installing it yet because of the weather but as always it appears to be a good quality piece right out of the box just like all of their other items I have purchased. Plus, their customer service and tech. support has always treated me well.

Re: Best Torque Arm

Thanks for the reply.. I like spohn products also.. Did you go with the tranny mount or the underbody mount? Have you done anything to the GTP .. I have a 99 Gtp and its almost as fun to drive as my 95z..

Thanks Chris

Re: Best Torque Arm

Its the underbody style.. I have de-modded the GTP to keep it as a reliable, cozy daily driver, it did have a pulley, cold air intake, PCM tune, and a downpipe. I agree they are pretty fun cars to drive as well.

I never took the car to the track, I was always paranoid that the trans. would take a dump. I'm sure you know that the trannys don't have a reputation for strength. I still have a brand new Random Tech 3" downpipe with a high flow cat. It is supposed to bolt right up to the TOG headers. Once I got the Camaro though, I decided against the headers and now this pipe is sitting around. If your interested, shoot me a PM.

Do you get much noise from the chassis mount style instead of the tranny mount? Thanks for the response..
