Bent up panhard and track arm

Im working on a car for the son of my wifes friend. Its a was jumped over a railroad crossing and bottomed out the suspension in the back
REAL bad..................

the right rear shock was blown, the rear bumpstop is gone it hit sooo hard, the panhard bar was cracked, and the trackbar brace( the bar above the panhard, dont really know the name) was bent too. I replaced everything except the brace above the panhard that looks tweaked. Before i started work i noticed that the right rear wheel was sucked in and the left rear was pushed out( the rear axle was off center big time). I thought that maybe replacing the panhard would take care of most of that, but it barely made a difference. Could the brace above the panhard be bent that much, could it be something else? Is the car just a turd and should be returned to hell? I may just get her to buy a new brace and see what that does(she wanted to save $$$, thats why im working on it and not a real mechanic.

The brace it what holds the panhard rod body mounting arm in place. Sounds like the panhard bar mounting arm may be bent to one side. Its hard to tell from the photo how bad the upper brace is bent. An undamaged brace starts out almost horizontal at the mounting point on the body arm, and then angles upwards to the left, starting maybe 8" off the bolt hole. Appears the brace is bent enough to put a 1" space between the heat shield and the bolt on the brace that it attaches to.

Looks like it kicked that bracket over.......might need a frame shop to pull it back out, The top brace won't fit if that bracket isn't right.

I hope the frame didn't get bent

it seems like it did, i dont think that a new upper bar will even fit. I may just send her on her way and say that "i tried, sorry, your frame is bent".

With all that damage, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

I think you should just tell her to kick her son's A$$ and take his car away from him for being such an F*CKIN IDIOT!
