Over the Winter i'm concentrating on the suspension adding a body mount adjustable TA and QA1's.

On average I cut mid 1.6's with a best of 1.61 late in the year - what's an honest opinion on short time gains?

I'd love to cut mid to high 1.5's with new drag radials and those mods.

 

I cut 1.55 60's with stock springs and Decarbons...The biggest changes came with the Spohn cross brace mounted TA, Spohn rod end/rod end LCAs, and 255 50 R16 M/T Radials...those 60's were with 16x8 fronts, too and both sway bars...(rear was the Spohn 1" solid chrome moly)...I also learned to flash stall the car off idle and not to build any rpm...Boom...consistent 1.55-1.57s and looks stock...

^yup..i've got completely stock suspension besides relocation brackets. ADn i cut 1.56's 1.57's all day. I've got good video too

 

That sucks for me - I have to roll into the throttle or I just destroy the tires. Could be that they're old - i'm replacing them next year. I have CompEngineering drag rears but they're set on the middle 50/50 rate.

 

question, i have stock suspenston, putting the qa1 suspension(v6front springs)

im gonna have +/- 360-380rwhp(mustang dyno) TR224-112 cam and full bolt ons, etc...

with decent tires(not slicks) what whould you guess ill get in 60'

Klypto...Get some M/T DRs....255 50 R16s on stock 16x8 wheels...You won't be disappointed. I ran BFG DRs for 10 years and never could hook like I am now...and I'm 400 at the wheels..Also, switching to 255 16s over 275 17s made a world of difference...The taller sidewall makes a huge difference at the strip...Front to back contact patch makes a bigger difference than side to side...
