Anyone seen or used a Jegster cage?

Doing some mods this winter and a 10 piont cage is on the list. Im going to buy a kit and install it myself. I was looking at jegs roll cages. Anyone seen these or used these? Any suggestions?

This is purely a guess, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were reboxed Competition Engineering rollcages. Give them a call and ask; the worst that can happen is they'll say they can't tell you.

I'm also planning on installing a roll cage (hence my chassis prep post) this winter. Seems like I've only heard positive feedback on the S & W cages, so that's what I plan on using. Are you going chrome moly or mild steel?

There was a post on here not too long ago where a guy posted a link to pics of his Jegster 8 Point installed, but I can't seem to find it.

I found it, check this thread: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...mp+engineering

IM going to go mild steel beings how I can weld it with a mig. Also I havent welded much chromoly so I hate to make a mess out of it. I talked to a local guy that does cages, supensions, ect and he wanted 1900 for a chromoly and 1450 for a mild steel. He done the math and he said that the mild steel would weigh about 190lbs and the chromoly would be around 135 lbs. HE also said that in a 10 piont for a 4th gen Fbody car there would be around 100 feet in the cage.

How do you plan to check the chassis for straightness before you weld in the cage?

Some people don't get very worked up about it, but I'm obsessed with details like that; I must know that my stuff is absolutely 100% right-on.
