I took my 94 Z to the shop to have the (upper/lower) A Arm Prothane bushings I got from Summit installed and the mechanic said they were the wrong size. I took them home and check the part # and they are the correct bushings. Turns out the dude didnt know to re-use OE bolt sleeves from my worn out bushings and the Prothane kit didnt include new sleeves for the lowers but it did for the uppers. Called Summit and they siad they didnt sell any of those sleeves nor did any of the bushing kits they supplied come with the sleeves. A tech guy from Summit called Prothane and the guy from Prothane sugested having some made out of stainless. So either way....

I need a (2) pair of lower A - Arm Bushing bolt sleeves for my 94 Z. Does anyone sell these?

 

I think people melt out the old bushings and reuse the sleeves.

 

Sounds like the shop may have thrown the old bushings away.

 

What size tubing is used for the bolt sleeves? There are 2 diffrent sizes. Would it be a size that a metal shop could cut? If not, Do v6 fbodies have the same a arms / sleeves? If so I might have a donor.....

 

I'm pretty sure they are all the same arms.
