anyone have problems with LakeWood loop

i bought the Lakewood drive shaft loop for my TA and i cant seem to get the part that goes around the drive shaft to line up with out hitting the torqure arm. i have to jam the loop part under neith the torque arm and then i can only get one bolt in it cause they hit the side of the torqoue arm. i have the TH350 conversion on my car with the hurst adapter plate so i can mount the torqoue arm. do you guys think that might be the reason i cant get it in there, and could i cut a little piece of the arm so that it will clear? the bottom strap fit pretty good i had to knock in a little part of the floor board on the pass. side but it fit ok.

I have the stock 6-speed and mine went on fine. I did have to unbolt the u-joint to get her on. I guess you could do it without unbolting the driveshaft, but I couldn't do it very well. It is easier trust me, I have done it both ways!
