Alignment Question

So thanks to those of you that chose to answer my questions, as dumb as some of them may have been, I've got my new bilsteins, brakes, and bushings all installed. The front upper and lower a-arms I sanded down and repainted while I was doing the bushings...after I get it back from the alignment shop I might pull off a wheel and take a few pics, if I do I'll post em. I'm taking it in for an alignment tomorrow, and I noticed today, looking at the driver side that the front wheel seemed a little back (toward the rear of the car) in the wheel well. So I got under the car for the 100th time this week and I see that I overlooked the position of the rear (horizontal) bolt holding on the driver's side lower a-arm..it's about a half inch or so inboard of where it should be. Is this something that they will correct as part of an alignment if I tell them? It'll be much easier for them to do while it's on a lift than for me in the driveway but I'll do it if I must. Just not going to waste the time/effort if it's something that can be done as part of the alignment. Thoughts?

Re: Alignment Question

That is the caster adjustment if my memory serves me correctly. If the reading is off they'll have to loosen it and adjust it anyway so don't bother.

Re: Alignment Question

Got the alignment done, it's spot on...perfect. The car has never handled the way it does now, it's like it's brand new. So after a week of working on suspension parts it's finally done..I highly recommend the bilstein hd/stock spring setup, if you're not interested in lowering. Between that and the new bushings, tie rods and ball joints, and brakes, reconditioning the a arms and a brand new set of zr1 wheels and 275 tires, it's like a completely different car and I don't think I spent over 1700 bucks.

Re: Alignment Question

Did u by chance change out the inner tie rod ends? What brand did u use? Im trying for some moogs but its s 2 week wait im told. Hope the parts guy is wrong on that. But all of the other brands that are readily available, look subpar. Starting to roadrace, already been on the track a few times and flimsy parts are not anything I want to waste time on, my luck is terrible. If its gonna happen, its gonna happen to me lol. Ounce of cure........

Re: Alignment Question

The inner tie rods are the only parts in the front suspension I didn't replace, they seemed fine. Maybe down the road at some point but I had to stop somewhere with this round of upgrades or I would have been sleeping in the damn thing. Thinking of replacing the rack next year so maybe then...actually I think most of the replacement racks come with them.
