abs inop light?

abs inop light?

what would cause the abs light to come on? mine has been on since i bought it and i have checked all the connections and grounds that i know of. any suggestions to get this light off would be great.

There has been a engine swap the car is a 95 engine is 96/97. No mods other than tb bybass and flowmaster exhaust.

There's probably around 40 different codes that can cause the ABS light to come on; the system can be scanned to see what the code is for. Common failures are dirty sensors and burn't wires close to the exhaust manifold.

You will be surprised by what can set it off. I had one too and it turned out to be a bulb in the back of the car.
Check for the stupid stuff to. I had a buddy with a scanner do it for me, scanned the car while he was driving.
Have someone who is electrically knowledgeable and check the volts by each hub. Basically, check for the obvious/stupid stuff before going to a shop.
