ABS codes 58 & 66

The ABS light on my 94 Z28 will come on sometimes when I first start up in the AM. It will turn off when I shut off & restart. I have codes 58 & 66 (C1258 & C1266) in history. It is looking like ABS motors or module? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: ABS codes 58 & 66

From 1995 shop manual, abs w/o trac control which should be the same as 1994.

DTC 58 LF ABS motor circuit shorted to batt

DTC 66 Rear ABS motor circuit shorted to batt

Occur either on short to batt or low/no resistance in abs motor when ECBM turned off. Diagnostic tree is check wiring for short, check abs motor pack for internal short, check ECBM.

Good news is it does not require tech tool to diagnose, only a multimeter. Add an email address and I will scan the pages from the manual and send them to you.

Re: ABS codes 58 & 66

I checked all the connections & secured the battery terminals. ( The battery terminals did tighten a little) The ABS light has not come back (Yet).
