Question 99 ss wheels

i have a 1999 camaro ss and have the 17 inchers and was wondering if there is a back spacing on the car. i recently got 2 new tires and had the front replaced because they were worn out worse and they put the new on the front and then i put the front on the rear. it seems to be pulling both ways when i hit bumbs and such. I want to know if there is a difference in rims before i do an alignment.

hey,

I just installed the SS wheels on my 94 Z28.

The OEM GM SS wheels are the same width front and rear.

17 x 9.0

The pulling is an alignment issue.

Both front and rear rims are identical. Even when the alignment is perfect those 275 wide tires will pull over bumps and follow every line in the road. A bad alignmet will make this much worse. When you get the car aligned make sure you tell the tech you want it right, not just close.

like Re said... 275s will pull really bad in ruts/groove/bumps inthe road. It's called tramlining. I have a set of 275s on mine... The roads in AK are REALLY bad an pull my car all over the place.

Still, it's possible the alignment is off.
