4th gen shocks

Are the coil over struts / shocks the same between the lt1's and v6 cars???

I need to get a drivers side assembly and found one from a low mileage 3.8l firebird. Didn't want to get it if it didn't work.

I have a 96 z28.

Re: 4th gen shocks

Spring and shock rates won't be the same, but I believe all the other hardware is.
