3,4 channel

how do u tell if u have 3,4 channel brakes

If your car has ONLY ABS, it will be a 3-channel system - one sensor on each front wheel (hub), and a 3rd sensor on top of the rear axle housing center section for rear wheel speed.

If your car has BOTH ABS and traction control, it requires a 4-channel system - one sensor on each front wheel, and one sensor on each of the rear wheels (brake backing plate). These cars have no sensor on top of the rear center section.

To determine if your car left the factory with traction control, look for RPO "NW9" on the build code tag. Traction control cars also have a switch on the dash or console to turn the traction control off.
