I have a 97Z28 too.
As far as I know all camaro Z28's have DeCarbon shocks.
I read that they will last the life of the car.

deCarbons are junk. You should look towards Koni or Bilstein for shocks.

Re: 1LE Coil Springs and DeCarbon Shocks

I am replacing my stockers at nine years and 102K. After the headers went on and the rwhp went to 303, the shocks were useless. Some squeek too, so they are done. Gonna get Bilsteins to match the 1LE springs that I got yesterday. Thanks Beast!
