1994 z-28 brake problems

1994 z-28 brake problems

hey guys thought that i just had a bad rotor or something so i got new rotors went to put them on and the brakes look great so i check the other side same thing. but the car feels like it has no brakes it shakes under braking and they feel way to soft. the abs light is on in the dash and so is the brake light could i have a sensor out that is a importan one or what might be the problem any help would be thanked

when the brake light is on that usally means you need brake fluid

if its soft you might need a new master cylinder, and if it shakes thats usually the rotors but since you changed them not sure, i hope you changed your pads with your rotors, just somethin i always do but shaking im not sure.

it might be as simple as a abs connector came lose or something, i dont want to call u stupid or anything i just always assume something simple and work my way up from there, or maybe even bleed the brakes.....hope u figure it out

LT1 equipped Camaro brakes just flat out suck.
You might consider doing the LS1 brake conversion. The braking power you get from the conversion is unbelievable.

What is shaking? The steering wheel, or the car seat? Steering wheel = front rotors warped. Car seat = rear rotors warped. Which rotors did you replace, front or rear? Soft usually would indicate air in the lines. Bleeding the brakes will more than likely fix that problem which is probably the reason for the ABS light also.
