I assume the low and high speed fan settings on this switch are 12V outputs to trigger the fans.

Are they enough to supply 12V switching to another relay? The reason I ask is this would be VERY useful for those w/ electric water pumps, as not only could you turn your fans on while the car is off, you could also run the electric water pump while it is off as well (which would cool the car down in a hurry).

does this fan switch provide a real ground to the relays for the OBD-2 portion, or is it a resistored ground, where they do not get a full ground signal, to prevent the ses lights?

Thanks

Ryan.

I am going to try to answer some of these questions, I'll have to check on the others...

These are made to order items. Production will start this week and as soon as they are made they will be shipped.

I'd have to check into that.

OBDII versions do have the proper resistor to prevent an SES light.

I think these can be made for the V6 Camaros, I will have to double check.

If you still have the e-mail for paying with a money order on the ScanMastrer GP that I sent you, you can just follow that information.

The switch (since it looks like all other fan switches) puts out a ground to the fan relays (which is just what the PCM does). You could still use it to trigger another relay, but it will just be the ground side that is doing the triggering.

I just checked to make sure, and these DO work on V6 f-bodies as well.
