How about an LT1-LS1 Manual Fan Switch GP?
We carry a pretty cool manual fan switch for '93-'02 LT1 and LS1 (as well as 3.4 and 3.8) f-bodies that has two LED lights. One LED light indicates low speed fan operation, and both LEDs indicate high speed operation. When not in use, your car's PCM still operates the fans as normal, but when the PCM turns the fans on, the lights in this switch still light up letting you they are in operation. If switch is in the the low speed fan position, and the PCM senses that it needs to use the high speed fan operation, it will automatically kick the high speed fan on anyway.
The instalation is very straightforward and comes with full instructions. Everything is is pre-wired so the hard part is out of the way and it is small enough to be able to be mounted just about anywhere.

EDIT: The GP price is $27 shipped, and this GP is a GO! Just click the above link to order!!

I mounted my switch on the plastic piece around the shifter boot
I have yet to complete my installation, but I only have the two wires yet to tap into (10 minute job). I was about as clueless as you can get, and I only needed a bit of help from my dad on the power connection...(Im 18 btw) which was nothing complicated once I could see the completed product. (Just had a hard time picturing what I was supposed to do). If you have any electrical experience you should have no problems at all... Id say it took me, the newb, about 6 hours to install, while doing the wiring for my cutout at the same time.
oh, and if it hasnt been corrected, the OBD1 wiring instructions were reversed... if you run into that, you want to connect blue wire to blue wire, and green wire to green wire
