Yeah, he said they would even try for 20% off if enough orders come in. So he couldn't tell me for sure what the price would be, although I would be notified of the final price before my card is charged. He did say the cost for the LT1 with steel Flywheel (note this is not including the adjustable master cylinder) could be down in the $600s

Now, WTF??? I had originally given my CC info and was the first to do so. I called today and opted out because I was still the only one who had left my CC info, and I thought the GP was over. They quoted me the LT1 Aluminum Kit withOUT the Master Cylinder for $1200ish. I ordered it from Summit Racing for $1010 with the throwout bearing and master cylinder included, aluminum flywheel.

If They are getting down into the $600's I still have about a week to cancel my Summit Order because it's backordered... But this has been a real ClusterFark... Someone from CP needs to post one final post with the instructions on when, what, and how the GP is going to happen. If at all.

At one point, I have been told I would be emailed final pricing, I was told there would be a link posted for ordering, and then I was told I had to call to put in a credit card to order. I have tried to follow all of these rules but to be honest all this BS and no real order date (I need mine NOW) isn't worth $200 to me right now. $400 maybe...

So right now I'm out... Get me a McLeod Street Twin Kit (63022-1A-07) with aluminum flywheel, throwout bearing and master cylinder included for $600-$700 and I'll cancel my Summit order, but otherwise this has been a big waste of my time. I could have had the blasted thing installed in my car and scattered my 10-bolt by now with all the time I've spent trying to get this GP to go!

I would like to know whats going on too.
When I called them over a week ago I can tell you everything was included and their price was much better than summit.

I called there today and left a message to see if I could find out whats going on.

Great price, but I dont think I am willing to send $850 to a company that is so hard to get ahold of.

I need one of these too, but seeing what I have read, I would not give this company my $$$.

Seeing that my last post was 2 days ago requesting that they post again and straighten out what and how they would like things to go down, and they obviously aren't watching the post they posted a Group Purchase on, I don't see purchasing from them either.

Customer service is a big issue with me, and while I like to save bucks like the next guy, on a big purchase like this, getting an answering machine 8/10 calls during business hours is a pretty big deal.

I'm sticking with Summit on this one, and TBYRNE has some great prices on other items I'll be ordering in the future so I guess this post wasn't a total waste of time because I learned about a new vendor even though I didn't go with them this time...

Cheers,
Paul

Email me and I'll let you know what I've found... A couple of people and myself have posted other prices here. Those posts have somehow disappeared... I am only speculating but I would guess that in a GP other pricing is not allowed to be posted, but again I'm just guessing.

My email is 350@350350.com, I'll be glad to share what all my research has turned up as well as which vendors have been easy to get ahold of, which ones spent the time on the phone with me for technical advice, etc.

In general I would agree that this information shouldn't be shared in the GP post, but the vendor involved here isn't even paying attention to the post anymore, so why not help all the people who have shown interest in the purchase?

Cheers,
Paul

Can anyone give me some tech info here and tell me what the Adjustable Master Cylinder, well, um, adjusts??? Is it the range of engagement of the pedal position? Or line pressure in the hydraulic end? I've never worked with an adjustable hydraulic clutch, always the factory 'one size fits all' type...

Okay, MAJOR BS going on here! These guys are apparently going through an owner change now! All you get is a recorded message that explains the situation and that customer service won't be available for a few weeks!

My card better not get charged! I'm taking my business elsewhere.
