Hey, if there is ANY chance at all, even a slim one, someone PLEASE speak up, because if there is a chance of a discount I will limp along on my clutch as long as possible, but...
Right now the only thing keeping me from dropping cash first thing Monday morning is this post. I want to get this in before cold weather just because I have to get my reverse synchro looked at while the trans is out and I'm working in the driveway right now.
I'll wait until Friday and if nobody speaks up and wants my money here I'll just pull my trans over the weekend and try to minimize the downtime. (I have to drive my 4x4 K5 while the Camaro is down... The Camaro takes 14 gallons every 8 days, and the K5 takes 20 gallons every 4 days...
)
Other than this post, does anyone know the best place to get a good price on the McLeod???

OK, I count 9 clutches here if someone ponies up and offers even a 10% discount on this... ( $900 each) That's an $8100 sale, and I'm sure others will chime in if this ends up happening. Who DOESN'T need an $8100 sale?

Anyone else speak up becasue I'll be buying soon. I found that about the cheapest they get is $1000 with the steel flywheel and master cylinder included. So if I could get a GP going for $900 or less, that would be great. I've got to do something soon though so I'm probably only going to revisit this post one more time at the end of the week, then purchase somewhere else.
I emailed Custom Performance and Thunder Racing, but other Vendors here may carry the clutch, I don't know. If anyone else wants to do some research, go nuts.

First e-mail us for pricing structure, then if you like it confirm with us.

Man, the prices must have went up on the street twins lately! I got mine from Tbyrne for $819 w/ one of those $50 rebates for online purchases that he runs from time to time just 2 months ago.

TByrne quoted in the $800s also to me over the phone.. they said it included the master cylinder. That was a lower price than what they quoted me direct from McLeod. Strange. If the price is right, I’m in for the group purchase with Custom Performance...

I just emailed custom performance for the pricing.
The price on the Street twin did go up a lot due to the price of steel.

The prices we're quoting people are for the street twins with alum and steel flywheels for both LT1 and LS1.
NOTE! PRICES HAVE DROPPED SINCE MOST HAVE CALLED! We'll give deals on the master cylinders too if requested. Remember. If even more people order at weeks end, your order confirmation price may be LOWER than what we will bill you.
