Why is everybody jumping down my throat, all i did was point out the fact that without nitrous, a f-body can't beat the new cobra's.

I like to think of nitrous as being the poor mans supercharger, LOL!!!

I mean, is it my fault that a have a 450+h.p. monster with just $1,000 in mods??? What would $1,000 in mods get an SS or WS6, 380-400 MAX???

The proofs in the pudding

you forgot something in your math

$1,000 in mods, on top of a $35,000 base price (not including dealer mark-ups)

compaired to a 2002 z28, base price of about $25,000 ...

so, going purly on your math, if you spent MSRP (doubtful) then 1k worth of mods, sure, you have a 450hp monster

or, that two year old (now $20k used) LS1 monster, add $16,000 to get to the same price invested in the cobra.

so do your math again

LOL.. power adders, nitrous... nah screw that.. I'll run your Cobra straight up naturally aspirated. Be prepared to have your *** handed to you by a stock looking SS.

People can talk crap all day long about whatever they want, but not perform when the time comes. Take your $35k car, I dont want it. It's like the guy with a $130K 2002 Porsche 996 Turbo. His expensive car was not so invincible, when he saw my taillights.

This "better than you" or "you can't do X with $1000" mentality is just gay.

hehe... I really hope this is a joke..
Who cares.. leave the guy alone trying to sell his car.

hmmm

you could buy a civic for $2k, then spend $34k, and wipe the floor with that $36k cobra

or you could buy a viper, and wipe the floor with the cobra stock

or you could buy an evo, and spend $$$ dollars and wipe the civic

or wait, did i mention this argument is stupid?

I am shocked too, I did not think a 3.8 could do this, but I think he can make any car run faster than averages because of his ability to shift so perfectly.
I wanna see him shift...I bet I could hang.

Isn't this thread about a car for sale? LOL

bRInG iT On f00L!

not sure if its my shifting or what, just seems if I get a manual trannied car for a bit and tinker with it, I can pull some better then average times out of it.

I shift pretty fast but I mean all you have to do is pull the shifter back real fast.

I just seem to get the shifter through the gears pretty quickly...

One day I will get a decently fast car, and see if I am a really good driver or if I just got 2 factory freaks back to back.
