Question for those at UCF
Question for those at UCF
I'm hopefully going to at UCF in January. I have the book that lists courses and stuff, but I can't really understand it. Is there anything on the ucf website that will list all the classes that I need for that degree? They make everything in school so confusing
they list them by the school they are in.
School of Business, School of Engineering, etc...
Then in each school they list the majors, and the classes you will need to take, I am pretty sure they list your entire college suggested track by each year. If the stuff like GEB 3031 means nothing to you, then you can look it up in the back of the book and it will give a brief description of the class.
Are you coming in as a pure freshman(no Community college) or as a Junior, and you finished Gen Ed?
At least thats how it is in my course catalog
BTW any idea at what you are looking to do?

That book you have is called a catalog, and it's your bible when while you're in school as far as your classes go, so hang on to it.
In my catalog, every major and course description is listed alphabetically, not by college or major.
For some reason, UCF's site is down right now, but go to it when it's back up and type in "academic catalog" in the search box. Our catalog is online as well as in print, so that should be of help.

I am planning on having my 2 year degree in Liberal Arts and then coming over to UCF. When I get there, I will be chaning my major to either Information Systems Technology or another computer related course.
When I was looking in the catalog today, I saw it said "students should complete 33 credit hours of lower level technical courses at a community college." Is this saying that before I would be able to get in to UCF that I would need to take these classes at a community college, or would UCF offer them. Any idea where I can find a list of these "lower level courses." I can't find them in the book.
Thanks for the help.
