i've got an itch to get some black powder coated wheels... something like the SLP take-off firebird rims with the inside powder coated black, or the whole thing powder coated black. i think it'd look good on my black car, and it'd hide break dust real good

anyone powder coated anything locally? how much did it run ya? i think i'm going to do some research into this... i hate my salad shooters

 

i am looking for new wheels as well, i have a red 95 z28. no stats though, i haven't found a race trac around here yet. i was thinking of doing the same thing except with red, if you ever find any info on this topic, please post it or send me some mail, thanks.

 

Drag strips - 2 in your area: Bradenton Motorsports Park on Hwy 64 about 9 miles East of I75 and Sunshine Raceway not sure of the location but in the bay area. Check over at BADRAP.net for the Bay area enthusiasts. They are a great bunch of folks and love to hit the track.

I will second the BADRAP thing the people over there are great. They are always planning track days also. Usually every Thursday and Saturday night is a test and tune out at bradenton motorsports park.
