Thumbs up PAGING: The 2 SS's going down Alafaya tonight

Good race(s) guys. To bad we never got a real start. I had my radar detector on so I knew (unless there was a smokie in the bushes with the radar off) we were safe. I don't think I know either of you guys. RedSS you didn't look familiar, Navy BlueSS you actually did. You remind me of a friend who had an older Camaro. At first you looked a little like JP (MadKilla) but last I saw he had longer hair. Anyways, sorry to get you in trouble with your girls ! Hope to see you around!

That was me Mark, I didn't recognize your car with my woman screaming at me. That was my friend Clay in the Red SS, I knew it was you when I heard you call about the board. Sorry I didn't really participate except as spectator, I caught so much flak from Chrissy because I promised her I wouldn't race, thats why I skipped the first one. I tried to go on the other only dropping to third to not freak her out but she still flipped! I am in the doghouse right now! You and Clay ran pretty even, that was fun to watch. Next time I will bring the Red car, leave the fiance at home, and crush all! lol. Anyway, I'll post tomorrow, my couch is calling!

Thumbs up

I thought it was you! I knew you had gotten a new SS I just didn't know what color. Sorry to put you in the dog house, if you are really even in the dog house and not just using her as an excuse for being too scared to race !!! Just kidding bro. Is your hair short now or was it just pulled back? How did you like my one big primer stripe ! That's custom by Whistler's paint and body ! It's in the transistion of becoming Electron Blue.

Hey Mark, believe me I am definately not afraid to run, but I can't with the fiance in the car. She went ballistic and I never shifted out of third. I saw you two run the first time and I only wanted to keep up, and I still got chewed out by her. I am hard to recognize because I shaved my head a while ago, its just now growing back. I didn't recognize your car, last time I saw it, it was black if I remember correctly. Electron Blue will be sweet, I can't wait to see that! What does your car run by the way, I am sure Clay would like to know since you guys were so close and he never has ran his car. He runs me and I usually put some distance on him. We were pretty close with even mods when my SS was new, who knows now. My Z puts some length on him from a roll, as soon as I can get that 3600 stall in the Z to hook from a stop, it'll be a slaughter

Thumbs down

I have never got a good track run out of my car. With MSD6A, pullies, CAI, and Hooker CatBack it went 13.7, that's my best time so far. Now I have Hooker LT's, dual side exhaust, 1.6RR's, Ken Well's tranny with 2400 stall, etc... I never hook up out there. I think my fuel pressure is set a little low as well. Mike Norris did a compression test on the engine and it came back within factory specs for a new engine. He said it should do high 12's with the mods I have. I am going to have him dyno tune it after the HotCam goes in. Is Clay's car modified at all?

He has a lid, K&N, and a bullet muffler in place of the stock muffler. Pretty stock. I have a Lid, Paper filter, Ported MAFS, and a cutout. Pretty stock too. I aggrevates me that My z28 has so many mods, and a barely put a car on his SS by 100. Which means as modded as it is, my near bone stock LS1 SS is faster, disgusting. Whistler has convinced me to do a Turbo Buick swap in the Z28 and dump the LT1. So thats the plans now, as much as I love my LT1 the thing has no chance against Equal mod LS1's.
