Drop me an e-mail, I was the first to do it with the help of CAMRIDE. It's really easy.

I believe you are the guy who gets all the free movie passes right? Give me a bunch of movie passes and I'll help you do it, you just pay for the parts.

I have owned all of the above except the v6 camaro, but have driven one. Get the GT if you are considering it, it'a a great car and will last as long as you dont kill it and maintain it. There will be deals on new ones soon as the 05 GT is coming out. Might find a Mach1 too if you look hard and have a little extra cash. DON'T "cam" your daily driver if you sit in traffic and drive a lot like I do (from experience) Don't expect anything you buy to keep it's value either. They wont, unless it's something rare. Modern cars are a dime a dozen. LS1 cars are getting cheaper, but there's a ton of them that are run hard and beat on. If it's a cheaper one, it's prolly been beat on. Also, some people have their heads up their *** about what a car is actually worth. I had the chance to get into another one clean LS1 car for cheap and turned it down. I've been looking around at cars awhile and know people in the industry.

Some of the cars I've owned.
02 GT, 5 speed
01 LS1 SS, 6 speed
01 Z06 Vette, 6 speed of course.
92 LT1 Vette A4
95 LT1 Z A4

I drove a newer DOHC 32v Cobra today (friend bought it) and I liked it. I ran it pretty hard, 7k redline. Loved to rev and pulled pretty good. Not nearly as hard as my cammed SS would. A bit faster than my SOHC 4.6 GT was. But still, I would own another Ford as in a GT, Cobra or Mach1.

People say blah about quality issues with Fords. I have next to none with the ones I've owned (and family). I can tell you PLENTY of them with GM's. Z06 and SS both leaked, oil consuption. Paint probs... etc... I still come back to GM. I like both.

I have a GM (SUV) now and it's great. I will own another fast car by the end of the year as a second car. We shall see. Still deciding on new school or old school. I seriously doubt it will be another 4th gen fbody. Prolly another C5 Vette or late C4. maybe a Zr1 or GS if I'm lucky. Also would consider a DOHC Cobra or Mach1 if the price is right. Leaning more toward the C5 again if I go modern when the C6's come out. We shall see, right now I'm contempt with my cheap *** insurance and good gas mileage. It's also nice not to have the cops hassling me every other day from loudass exhaust. My next car will have either stock mufflers or something quiet on it.

If you have any questions about the newer GT's or anything, feel free to ask.

Just my 2 cents worth
Steve
Something tells me that Eric wasn't looking for a diatribe on your part. Nobody was making a big deal about the fact that he wanted a Mustange, including myself. As well, it's nice that you're rich enough to have owned all these cars, but 99% of us are not. Therefore, I believe that your irate attitude needs to go.

I apologize if I'm reading this wrong, but your post came off as some rant on people who weren't arguing about anything in the first place.

Thanks.

I might look into it more 5Liter...

I was just looking into it just recently, maye be a long time if ever if I do it, but yeah I am the movie ticket guy. I figure in looking into it one fo the first obstacles was someone willing to do it, and the costs.

As about this car and that car, I feel any car I am interested in is not going to be top of the line with quality and longevity... I see cars as lasting 100,000 without major problems as long as oyu keep up on regular maintenance or unless you caused the problem with bad drving habits.

ALot of poepl tell me new GTs are slow but to be honest I went out and test drove some a new GT with a 5-speed I think is jsut as fast as an lt1, but doesn't have as much umph down low.

and auto Gts... ugh... I seriously think my current v6 would really hold its own against one.

either way thatnks for the input guys.
