Question Anyone know where to get body-work done?

Hey, this is for a friend.

He got his door dinged. Anyone know of a GREAT bodyshop? A friend of mine has a 2000 firebird and evidently got a door ding in it. I'm not sure how bad it is, but I'm assuming it needs to be repainted.

The messed up part is on the door itself, so it needs to be a fiberglass shop. Please let me know. Thanks in advance

Can they repair fiberglass? I thought they only worked on the metal parts of the F-bods?

I got my car painted by D & G in Longwood. I just got the front bumper painted due to fading-but the majority of the cars there were being fabricated and fixed up-lots of work.

A member on here "2002Z28SSConv" recommended it to me. Here's the thread with some before and after pics of his car

I called Gary. I'm gonna try and get the car to him tomorrow. I haven't even seen the damage yet, so it might be nothing. But I'll try to take picks if it's as bad as I think it is.

And if it is, then I can't wait for it to be fixed. I want to see the end results. then I'll let everyone know how it went.

Anasazi, how much for the door? Is the handle painted black? Reason I ask is for my old six cylinder. The passenger side door has a paint splotch on it that looks like they used the worng color paint.

Let me know

Let me know

i'm thinking $75 for the door

includes glass, electronics, and the actual door... the inside panel however is not included (i don't have it). the glass alone is worth over $100.

power window motor is of unknown condition

i baught it in order to put it on my car when i still had it, but i was lazy and never got it put on and painted.

its got a few scratches on the sides of the door from being moved around the garage, but other than that the paint is better than my old z28's paint was.

i'm not sure if the door handle is black, its been covered by a sheet propped up against the wall of my parent's garage for about 8 months now.

door is located at the parent's house which is near the oviedo mall

contact me on AIM (workasazi)

i don't think the door will fit inside an f-body so we'll need an SUV or something ... plus that sucker is heavier than it looks
