dyno day 2 day

went up to Jeremy in tampa to get my car dyno tuned. Gotta say i had alot of fun all the ppl at rev xtreme are great. Jeremy realy knows his stuff. after we spent the frist hr trying to get the computer to talk to the car then we found out that it has a 94-95 pcm in it. he spent bout 5 hrs on it tryin to get evey last ounce of power. changed spark plugs and eveything. Still not makin the power we wanted to see but i must say the car MOVES now. after he re tuned it. I Love it
final number where 254hp 277lbs tq We think it has somthing to do wit the knock snesor. But it runs alot better then it did. Hes the Man i have pics/vids ill post 2moro

Re: dyno day 2 day

How much did that cost to get dynoed and then tuned? I'd like to get mine on a dyno and see what she's got. Last night I got on their forums cause they meet by my house, and I've been looking for a club to join up with, so we'll see

Re: dyno day 2 day

dont quote me, but i believe dyno is 65 for 3 pulls with wideband, and if you wanna rent the dyno for tuning, i believe its $125. best thing to do is call and talk to Dino, 813-628-0080

as for the power, yes it does seem a bit low, but if its the knock sensor, which it very well could be due to the headers, that would definately pull your timing back. minus the 150 shot, i would think you to be in the 275 range. but you could also have alot of converter slip too.
