I used to work at a range and believe me DON"T BUY CHEAP. Get the best you can afford and also what works for you. Your life can depend on it, The cheapies are jamomatics with lousy trigger pulls and inaccuracy issues. The simplist gun would be a revolver. And thats what I would recommend if its your first.
