i thought the 04 cobras were only ~425 at most,

his puffed up 383 should do 5 easy, though?
and torque almost 6?

i wanted so bad to just drop the hammer but to much money was spent on motor to prove a point to a cobra.once i get it broke in,i'm taking to the track just once to see what it will do.i was told this motor is pushing 600 hp.but once i get it on the dyno we will find out.

I think you woudl have toasted him but I woudl take it kind of easy on the motor and do what it takes to get it all right.

Guess it depends on what mods the cobra had - they can be made to run in the 500+rwhp range pretty easily with some mods - from there it gets expensive.
