LT1 Leak - Passenger Side Pulley Area

Hey All-

I was hoping to get a couple of thoughts on likely leaks down the front of my pulleys. The car leaks a few drops here and there. I have actually been chasing this off and on for a few years. Within the past few years I have replaced the heater hoses with a new unit and the power steering return hose. I also added a power steering cooler in line as I thought it was bubbling over at one point. The leaks seem to originate around the ps pump and ac compressor area. The ps pump, pulley, and all hoses are dry but the ac compressor is a mess. Is it possible that the ps pump seal leaks when it heats up? The leak appears to be ps fluid and is present on the rear of the ac compressor and the pulley on the front of the compressor. The ps fluid has been flushed and is primarily clear with a little bit of red color in it so this is not as easy to chase as it sounds. What color is ac refridgerant when it leaks?

The refrigerant will vaporize when it leaks, leaving behind a small residue of PAG oil.... not likely to produce drips.

Thanks Injuneer.

Looks like this is a ps leak then. Remaining suspects are the pressure line and the pump itself. I am leaning towards swapping the pressure line.

I will update this thread after making some changes.
