i have a 95 3.4 camaro and its been acting up, so the car was on and went and disconnected the tps and the car turned off, then i disconnected the iacv and the car stayed on is there a chance that the idle valve is defective.

 

A more detailed description of "acting up" would help determine where you need to look. If the car is idleing up and down by itself, constantly, then yes, your IAC is probably the problem.
