i pulled the intake and replaced the gasket but now my oil guage dont work

i pulled the intake and replaced the gasket but now my oil guage dont work

i replaced the intake gaskets but when i started it the oil pressure gauge went all the way to the left past 80 and wont come back down even when the key is off it just stays there all the time help

The oil pressure sensor is on the back/top of the block, right behind the edge of the intake manifold. You either knocked the wire off, or damaged the sensor.

My experience... They break easy. Also, they do not work very accurate. A cheap sensor with bad cal. But, I think it qualifies as an idiot light. B.

Same thing happen to me last week ended being broken wire at the senser just check the wire by grounding it, the gauge should come back down if it is ok If it is the plug just buy new pigtail. EFI CONNECTION has them $10
