For the past month My exhaust manifold gasket has been getting destroyed because of a leak. Today I decided to replace it and found that the previous owner of the car must have taken the manifold off before. I figured this out because the back 2 bolts are broken off in the block. I replaced the gasket and tightened the bolts, so it sounds fine and it doesnt feel like anything is coming out. I was just wondering what I would need to do to get out the parts of the bolts that are broken inside? Both of the heads are missing. Thank you for any help.

 

It'll be pretty difficult to get those bolts out unless you pulled the heads. If they are the very back bolts, then it would be a good time to upgrade to headers as those bolts are not used.
