Things to know before Opitspark change best link

Where can I find a good post about Optisparks, also do I do anything special before I pull the HBalancer off?
Thanks

Make sure to mark how the hub goes on since there's no key for it.

The stock hub does not need to be removed; the crankshaft can be turned to allow clearance for the opti to clear the hub as the hub has 3 "fingers".

Shoebox site shows the proper positioning of the opti for reinstall: http://shbox.com/1/opti_back.jpg

The hub doesn't have to come off, just the balancer. I can't vouch for all years, but my ballancer will only go back on the hub one way due to the bolt spacing.

As far as the opti its like anything else, the first time will take you a long time, so be patient. I know there are posts on here and probably pics somewhere. Just take your time.

from memory:
-intake elbow and plumbing, maf etc
-belt 13mm on the pully (I find it easier to take the idle pully off too, more room to get at wires)
-think the air pump around this step (I never had one, dont know)
-coil/icm and ground wires 14mm deep
-14mm deep and maybe shorts water pump I find a 1/4" with extension and short socket works for the bolt behind the power steering pump (with my epump I have to pull the fans first, didn't have to with stock pump)
-ballancer 16mm. You will most likely need a puller. Rent one first form the part store to be safe. The smaller one is much easier to work with, just dont get the super puny one.
-opti 10mm

The waterpump is 9/16, ballancer is 5/8, and the opti is 3/8, it isn't metric.
