Borla exhaust easy adjustability

Hey guys, I don't know if anyones tried this before, but I bought some 2" pipe plugs from home depot and used them to change the adjustability of the borla, they plug into the right side and use a wing nut to expand a rubber grommet.

Its so much easier then dealing with plates, although it does look pretty ghetto, for ten bucks and now I have a quiet car. Its pretty much like a cutout but much easier access.

It was nice, so weird driving it around that quiet though. Heres a picture of them installed(i know the paint sucks but the paint didn't really adhere to well, still better then bright red)

I suppose it's better than the different sized potato method that Eddie Murphy used. Kidding aside, I don't think that looks bad at all. Kind of reminds me of the Supertrap exhaust system.

Link or pics? Never heard of it. I'd imagine it costs more then my 4 dollar a piece pipe plugs, but I'm curious...

His service is awesome too. After 2 years my E-Borla developed a rattle so i sent it in because it was still under the 4 year warranty. I had also sold my Borla and went with a Corsa and planned to go with a cutout. Dave sent me a new E-Cutout to replace the Borla one.
