Those numbers are way low. Get rid of that cam for a proven cam and put some LT's on that thing.

Re: 383 dyno #'s

You may want to upgrade your injectors as well.

Re: 383 dyno #'s

Before you go swapping every part because it seems the easy thing to do...

Stock injectors can easily support cars going 115 mph in the 1/4.

It was your first time @ the dyno...how was your AFR...timing...tuning?

That cam is a good cam.

You can easily squeeze 400 rwhp/400rwtq with the parts you have if you are willing to work on it.

Re: 383 dyno #'s

I agree with Canton, the combination of parts is good and there's nothing wrong with that cam. I had that cam in a 355 LT1 with stock heads and a P600B that made 536 at the wheels.

As mentioned, look at items like AFR. If it were me, I probably would go with a bigger throttle body and long tube headers. Try to narrow in on the tuning first.

Re: 383 dyno #'s

More information on the heads please. Valve size, flow numbers?

Camshaft should do the job, larger TB is more neccasary than the larger injectors but I would do both.

Re: 383 dyno #'s

It's not the injectors it's the tuning or lack there of. My car ran 11.24@120mph with the stock injectors and a decent tune. I went from running 11.98@113mph to 11.37@118mph on the very next pass with just a PCM reprogram at the track. Longtubes, good exhaust (headers back) and a bigger throttle body wouldn't hurt either. With LT4 heads that cam and a 383 you should be making more power than that. Goodluck Later Clint

Thanks guys,i agree i dont think he put much effort into the tune,he did two pulls, including the baseline pull.i dont have a flow sheet ,but they flow close too 270cfm,2.00int-1.55ex valves. the car runs and sounds great,im sure with more tuning,lt's,tb it should get a little more out of it.

My car trapped 116mph on the stock injectors.
