There is a set screw on the driver's side of the throttle body. It is an allen wrench screw that I believe is 5/16. Anyway you just turn it until you raise your idle to where you like it.

The best way would be to either fix what is wrong (if the idle just became low, the IAC is probably not funtioning right as the PCM will try to fix the idle with the IAC if it is lower or higher then it would like) or get the idle tuned to the point where you would like it via a mail order tune from PCMforless or MADz28 for cheap, and with your mods I would suggest a tune either way.

The accelerator stop screw is a torx. The computer will will still control your idle speed by the IAC. The only thing that will change is the amount of air let in by the IAC. The more air let in by the throttle blades, the less air the IAC will need to let in.

I don't see anything but the words "idle problem". That does not say much. What is it really doing?
I don't really recommend ever touching the accelerator stop screw, unless you change throttle bodies.

well it idles fine at startup, sometimes it takes about 10 minutes for it to throw a code, sometimes its instant. when it runs for about 30 minutes it idles real low at 500 and smells very lean.

What is the code for?

Is it possible this is a series of problems you have already posted in some other thread? If so, what was the problem? Seems like a long shot to assume that increasing the idle speed would eliminate a code and "smelling lean".... not sure I know what that smells like . Opening the blades too far can take control of the idle speed away from the PCM, and may set codes for TPS voltage.

Maybe put the full problem, with all the details, the specific code, etc all in one thread, and then maybe people could come up with some suggestions.
