Red face Need Help Removing Slip Fit Tube on Header..

Hey,
I am having serious trouble removing the slip fit tube on the #1 primary on my driverside Mac Header. I pulled the heads and intake, and had to work around the damn header to get the head out. The header is completely unbolted, the clamp holding the slip fit is completely undone and off the mating point, and I cant get the slip fit out at all. I was able to twist it a little bit, but I cant really twist it back and forth to the point where it would come out. Any ideas or advice to get it off???
Thanks,
Brandon

It may also help to heat the bottom of the slip joint a little to make it expand. Try to keep the top portion cool. It might slip off easier that way.
