i tried editing my signature...actually removing something from it.

but when i try to save it says it's limited to 500 characters or something. i think it's counting the web links....cause i dont think i have that many characters in the actual sig.

is there any way around this? or is this the new version of the "5 line sig limit"??

chris...my signature is only 4 lines long (in my font size/screen)...

so why would it give me problems if i wanted to remove stuff from my signature??

are we not allowed to have links anymore? cause i suppose i could take off the link to "smoothlocks" which would probably **** someone off

 

Heh...here's how it works...

The new version of the board software that we implemented not long ago has a function to limit the amount of total characters in a sig (not lines).

Any signature that was made before the software update was not affected by the update, but when you try to change your sig it then comes into play.
