Tool Section

I think that we should have a new section dedicated to discussing tools.
For example what is the best tool for X job. Or what jack to buy or not to buy. Who makes the best torque wrench? Various valve spring compressors etc. Or what is the tool called that removes X ?

Great idea.....I wish I could have thought of it.

It would be helpful IMO...also reading scanners and meters etc. would be helpful. Or when a new tool comes out......if it works good or is a pc. of junk. Just general shop talk

Noted. Use the Lounge for now, it could use the help with some "decent" content.

I once found a page on the internet that had "all the tools" you'd need to fix any problem on select model of a car. Maybe something like that with a full rundown list filled with tool names and sizes can be posted in General F-Body tech, would be a help for some trying not to spend huge amounts on tools they'll never use.

Thats a good idea.......there are a few need to have items as far as tools.

I think you should make a post with a list of them. For now just stick it in the lounge
