[How-To Question] Picture upload
#33
Re: Picture upload
Message from Cheryl. Apparently we are not supposed to upload photos using the "Manage Attachments" screen. Odd that it lists .jpg and .jpeg files as allowable. See message below.
Gary: How did you upload the photo in post #32?

Hi Fred,
The photo uploader should be working fine for people now. Do you know what button they are using to upload? On one of our other forums, people weren't using the photo uploader icon next to the smilie icon. Instead, they were using the "manage attachments" button. That would be the incorrect button to use to upload photos.
Let me know, thanks!

Re: Picture upload
Seems to work the same for me regardless of how I start. This one was done by starting with the Image icon. After that, the rest was the same.

Re: Picture upload
Additional info on the two methods of uploading photos:
The manage attachments button is for uploading files, so the photo will show up as a file. Technically you can still upload that way, but if you want the photo to fully show up in the thread I would recommend using the photo icon. I apologize if it seems we did not make aware of these changes, the change was rather small and technically the manage attachments button would work for photos as well.
